Cookies policy

Last updated 1 October 2026

Draft — being reviewed. This page is still being checked and may change before we launch. Highlighted text is still to be confirmed.

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We only use the essential ones unless you say yes to more, and you can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

Essential (always on)

These make the website work, so they don’t need your consent:

  • Your basket — kept in your browser’s storage so it’s still there when you come back.
  • Your cookie choices — so we don’t ask you again on every page (clementine_consent, kept for 12 months).
  • Checkout — when you pay, Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout page to process the payment securely and prevent fraud.
  • A friend’s gift — if you arrive through a friend’s link, we remember it so her free card is added to your kit when you order (clementine_gift, kept for 30 days, and removed once you’ve ordered).

Analytics (only if you say yes)

These help us understand how people use the site, so we can improve it:

  • Google Analytics (ga, ga_*) — which pages are visited and how people found us. Kept for up to 14 months.

Marketing (only if you say yes)

These let us show our ads to people who’ve visited, and see which ads work:

  • Meta Pixel (fbp, fbc) — Facebook and Instagram ads. Kept for up to 90 days.
  • Pinterest Tag (pinunauth, _epik) — Pinterest ads. Kept for up to one year.
  • Google Ads (gclau) — if we advertise with Google. Kept for up to 90 days.

Changing your mind

Click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change your choices. You can also delete cookies in your browser’s settings. Saying no to analytics and marketing cookies doesn’t stop anything on the site from working.

For more about how we use personal data, see our Privacy policy.
