Notes from Kim
We shot our own photos. In my living room.
We needed real photos of real women wearing the band. Not renders. Not stock. So we did it ourselves. One day, three friends, one bed.

In short
- Every photo on the new site was taken at my house, not in a studio.
- Three friends wore the band. Nobody had done this before. Everyone said yes anyway.
- Every kit is packed and posted by me, from the same kitchen table.
For a long time all we had were renders. A band floating on a white background. It never looked like the thing you actually sleep in.
So I asked some friends round, moved the furniture, and turned the house into a set for the day.
The bit nobody tells you
I ironed the sheets. The living room became a studio. The kitchen did too.
There was no glam team. Luckily I have a bunch of friends who were happy to help with hair and make-up.
My son was off school sick, so he got involved too.

Yes, I ironed the sheets.
No glam team. But luckily a bunch of friends to help me out.
The studio. Also our kitchen.
Shoot fuel.
The kit
One ring light. One phone. A lot of tea.
And the women in the photos are actually asleep. Or very nearly. That’s the whole point of the band: you lie down, you press play, and you don’t pick your phone up again.

Our lighting rig.
An afternoon nap counts too.
What you see in these photos is the sample band. There are still a few more tweaks to make to it, but we are very, very happy with it.
And the cards have landed
Every kit is packed and posted by me, from the same kitchen table you can see in these photos. No warehouse.
Pre-orders ship in early December, in time for Christmas.

The cards have landed.
Me and a friend. Done for the day.
